Happy Valentine’s Day From Your Favorite Travelistas!

Dear Travelers,

Happy Valentine’s Day!

We hope everyone had an incredible Valentine’s Day with your loved ones and friends. We decided to spend the weekend in Miami together with some of our friends from New York. On Friday we went to Wynwood Kitchen & Bar for dinner. We have heard that restaurants in Wnywood are as amazing as the art in this neighborhood, so we were both excited to try something new. As soon as we walked into the restaurant, we loved the vibe and ambiance.

Wynwood Kitchen & Bar is located in the heart of the Wynwood Walls and therefore its walls are beautifully covered in contemporary urban art. Another great thing about this restaurant is that they serve delicious tapas. We ordered the gambas al ajillo, ropa vieja empanadas, tequenos and snickers ice cream to share.

After dinner, we headed to Set nightclub. The club is spacious but isn’t too big. The visual projections shown behind the DJ while he was playing were awesome. We definitely recommend it.

On Saturday, we had lunch at The Terrace of the SLS hotel. We ordered a caesar salad and the SLS burger with fries to share. They were one of the best fries either of us has ever tried.

Then we went to the pool party at the SLS Hotel. We have had heard about how great the parties are but we have had never the chance to go. We all headed over there and it was definitely an experience. The music was on point but the crowd was a bit wild for our taste. It was overall a good time and we will probably go again when we visit Miami again.

For dinner we headed to Sushi Siam in Brickell with our friends. We ordered what we usually do when we are together and it was just as delicious as we remember. Dragon roll and egg fried rice. Delicious!

After dinner we went to Barú/Tucandela which was actually incredible!!! We all had an amazing time dancing to latin music all night.

On Valentine’s Day we went to the brunch at The Raleigh hotel. Hands down the best pancakes we have ever tried! Pancakes with sweet melted butter that would just melt in your mouth. The eggs benedict with smoked salmon were also to die for.

We ended up walking around ocean drive for the rest of the day.

Tell us about your Valentine’s Day!
