Hot Miami Getaway

Hello travelers of the world,

Here we are writing again after a couple of very busy weeks. This time around we’re going to tell you all about our last weekend together. Summer weather is definitely around the corner in South Florida, so it was time to pack dresses and bikinis and go have fun in Miami!

On Friday night we had a birthday party in Wynwood so searched around for the perfect place to have dinner in the same area.  We decided on the Wynwood Diner & Cocktails, which is totally hipster, pretty much like every spot in Wynwood, with a quite welcoming atmosphere.

We sat in a long wooden table with strangers. We thought that would maybe trigger some funny stories… but not this time. Though it was pretty amusing to hear their conversation.. We tried not to but it was pretty hard! LOL We ordered the Cobb Salad, Mac & Cheese and Truffle Fries. By now, we are sure you can figure out which of us ordered what ahahah. We also tried a Pop’s Porter from the Wynwood Brewing Company, which was the perfect fit. It’s definitely a great restaurant and bar.

After dinner, we met some friends at El Patio. It is a gorgeous venue with an outside dance floor. If you are fan of Spanish music, there’s no way you won’t like it. We danced to latin music all night long and had a great time!

On Saturday, we took the day off and went to the pool for a tan. Super relaxed and the weather was perfect.

It’s an amazing place! We ordered a Tropical Special Salad that was absolutely delicious and the usual pizza from the kids menu.

Later on, we went to Miami Beach for dinner. We had an amazing meal at Spris where we first met. Our dads literally sent us on blind date hahaha they have been very good friends since college and when we moved to the same state, they wanted us to meet each other. Lucky for us, we got along really well! : ) But going back to the menu, we ordered the classic Margheritta pizza and a Panotta del Contadino that were yummy as usual.

After dinner, we headed to Mokai Lounge, which is one of our favorite clubs in Miami. The music is always on point and we love dancing. Also, the decoration is very interesting and alternative, which differentiates this club from the normal Miami Beach basic gem.

On Sunday, we went for brunch at La Boulangerie in Key Biscayne for some fabulous Eggs Benedictine and a super powerful squeezed orange juice.

It gave us the perfect strength we needed before we headed back to our routines!

Safe and fun travels! : )
