LA Part 2!

Hi C,

LA was such a blast! We decided to drive around and visit some of LA’s most instagrammable places and take photos in front of the beautiful colorful walls.

We recorded V singing the song “Rise Up” by Andra Day in front of the famous pink wall. Enjoy the clip below! We obviously took over 100 pictures each to get the perfect one haha.

We then headed to Malibu to go to the beach. The drive was so beautiful and serene. Once we started getting close, V started to feel a bit lightheaded because of the altitude which made me panic a bit as she was the one driving hahaha. Parking was a total nightmare!!! We got extremely lucky because after driving around for almost 20 minutes, we finally saw a car pulling out.

We had lunch at The Sunset. V ordered the steak and I ordered the mac and cheese and the spaghetti Bolognese. Yum yum yum! After lunch, we headed to the beach. The weather was so beautiful! After a few hours on the beach, we headed back to the hotel to get ready for the fireworks.

We parked the car in the middle of the street in front of Exposition Park and put down our rooftop. It was one of the most magical firework shows either of us have ever seen.

We went to dinner at GJELINA and each ordered a pizza. A few of my friends had recommended it and it was definitely worth it. The only thing that kind of bothered us is that the lights were too dim. We could barely see each other when we were having dinner.

The next day we drove around and took more pictures around LA. We were so fascinated by the street art.

Before heading to the airport, we stopped by Salt & Straw to try their famed ice cream. I got the cookie dough! It was so good but it started melting instantly because it was so hot out lol.

We ended up at a tattoo and piercing parlor where V got her ear pieced. Even though she was the one doing it, I was the one screaming!! I hateee needles!

We headed over to Hermosa Beach as I heard it is one of the best sunset’s in California. I was immediately mesmerized. I took probably 50 photos. Every minute I got a different shot.

Before heading to the airport, we stopped by a food truck and both got grilled cheese’s and tater tots. We were the last customers so they gave us the rest of the tater tots that they had! Sooooo good.

LA was definitely a blast and we HAVE to go!!

Xoxo,

– K
