Okay you are seriously making me so jealous with these photos! I want to go so badly! You should definitely look into a career of planning trips for other people haha you’d be soo good at it. Anyway, it still feels so surreal that I just moved to Spain for a year. I can’t wait to travel around with you! One of the most amazing things about Madrid is its food so I want to share with you a restaurant that really stood out to me this week and that I recommend everyone go to!

My favorite restaurant so far has been La Bien Aparecida. From the moment you walk in, every host and waiter you see welcomes you to the restaurant with a big smile. Talk about great customer service! ;) The décor is so original because it features a huge wall that has sort of sculptures that are solely made up of gold forks, knives and spoons. So cool and unique.

 For starters, the waiter brought a complimentary appetizer that was incredible. The dish I liked the most was the Croquetas de huevo cocido y lacón. I loved the taste of it as well as the presentation. I mean come on it even comes with chips! Haha. I also had the Canelones de ropa vieja con champiñones y jugo de carne and my friend had the Solomillo de ternera con foie y verduras.

As you can see from the photos, the way the dishes were served was impeccable. The waiters constantly checked on us to make sure we didn’t need anything and always with a smile. The restaurant is more high-end so it’s perfect for a date, birthday celebration or if you’re feeling like you want to splurge a bit for an unforgettable meal. I actually put the entire meal on my Snapchat and had multiple people reach out to me about how amazing it looked!
