Next Big Thing

Dear K,

Wow! That wedding really does sound like a fairytale! I’m sure someday we’ll have our own perfect day ahah.

I just arrived from an insane weekend in Tampa. I went to the Next Big Thing festival at the midflorida amphitheater. It was so cool! The weather was as perfect as the lineup. Glass Animals, Saint Motel, X Ambassadors, Andrew McMahon, The Neighborhood, Walk The Moon, Of Monsters and Men, and Twenty One Pilots were some of the bands I was eager to see.

Saint Motel definitely surprised me with an amazing show, vibe and the way they connected with the audience. If you don’t have their music in your life yet, please add them to your playlist immediately! The ending with Twenty One Pilots was sick. Such a great performance!!!

It was just an amazing day and I met so many random people! I had a blast (as you can see in the pictures haha) even though I barely remember any names… I remember Tara and Rory with whom I saw Twenty One Pilots way closer to the stage than what my ticket allowed me to. These things always happen to me and I don’t even know how. I went with my roommate and another friend but somehow I always get to meet new people and I lose track of time and space. Anyway you should keep up with these bands because they’re too good to be missed!

On Sunday morning after checking out of the hotel, we went for brunch at The Brunchery. I had a delicious Brunch Benedict and my friends had a specialty pan cooker that looked divine and blueberry pancakes.

Right after brunch we went for a walk at Hyde Park. There was some kind of fair going on so there was live music, stands from local businesses and more life than the usual. Such a pleasant afternoon! And I found the perfect Christmas gift for you, I really thing you’re gonna love it!!!
