Those places in Orlando sound amazing!! We will have to go to some of them when I come visit you in April :) Abu Dhabi is about an hour and a half drive from Dubai. One of my best friends, who I have known since I was 12, just got married at the St. Regis Corniche in Abu Dhabi and I was the maid of honor. As soon as I walked into the hotel, I was mesmerized.

After checking into my room, the bride-to-be and I went to dinner at Leopold’s of London (LoL) in the mall that is connected to the hotel. Of course her last dinner as a single woman was mushroom and truffle pizza, and chocolate cake!

The following day, I spent a few hours at the beach and pool of the hotel with her brothers while she was at various appointments. I can’t get over how gorgeous the beach was!

Ahhhhhh! It was finally wedding time! When I went to her Bridal Suite, I was floored over how stunning she looked. I can’t begin to explain how unreal the wedding was. It was my first Arab wedding and I loved being a part of their various traditions. It was also interesting listening to Arab music for hours! Every time an English song came on (there were like 10 the entire night haha) I would get up and dance. I tried really hard to learn how to dance to Arab music but it wasn’t working out hahaha.

The wedding was incredible and it was definitely worth the 24 hour!
