Happy Birthday To Me <3 K

Hi C,

I’m so sad we couldn’t celebrate my birthday together! As you know, I went to NYC! My birthday weekend was literally 4 days blurred together and I slept a total of 15 hours those days combined haha. I flew to NYC Thursday night to have dinner with my close friends and be with them at midnight to ring in the big 24!

We went to Beauty and Essex in the Lower East Side which I had never been to before but all my friends raved about it. The décor was beautiful and the food was amazing! It’s a great place to go with friends because you can order a lot of food and share everything. My favorite dish was the grilled cheese, smoked bacon and tomato soup dumplings. I also loved the cupcakes! It was finally midnight… HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME! That night I went to No. 8 in the Meatpacking district, which had a great vibe and good music.

Three hours later, I went home to get two hours of sleep before my plane to Boston. I was in Boston for a total of 5 hours to have lunch with my parents who were visiting the city for the weekend. We went to Bar Boulud in the Mandarin Oriental for lunch where I had the delicious Lemon Spaghetti and of course we all drank champagne to celebrate my birthday!

I rushed back to NYC and got ready to go to dinner at Gemma at the Bowery Hotel. I went to Gemma one day randomly in February and my friend got the Focaccia Robiola. It looked amazing so I asked him for a bite and then I was hooked. Every single time that I visit NYC, I have to go there. After dinner, we met up with my other friends at TAO downtown and danced the night away!

On Saturday we had the most mouthwatering brunch at Hotel Chantelle on Ludlow. The breakfast pizza and the stuffed French toast were to die for… We then shopped all day and went out that night to PHD lounge at the Dream hotel in Downtown.

On Sunday my friend gave me a 12 POUND FERRERO ROCHER that she made from scratch!! I was shocked!!! The entire weekend was incredible and I wish you had been there to share it with me!
