NYC, It’s been a pleasure!

Hi C,

Those photos are absolutely stunning! I can’t wait for our road trip in April. While you were on your crazy adventure, I went to NYC to celebrate my friend M’s birthday. When I first landed in NYC, there was an incredible sunset.

For lunch on Saturday, my friend and I went to Benihana, my favorite restaurant in the world. I always love experiencing the same restaurant in a variety of different locations and comparing them. Every location I go to, I always order the exact same thing: a lemon Ramune, Hibachi Shrimp and two vegetable fried rices.

After lunch, we went to this amazing place called Momofuku Milk Bar. It’s a small place and there is always a long line. I got the “Cornflake Chocolate Chip Marshmallow Cookie” and my friend got the “Compost Cookie”(one of their biggest sellers).

We went to Pulqueria Tequila Bar Restaurant in Chinatown for dinner and stayed there until 3 a.m. The food was great and the DJ was amazing!! We all had a blast and didn’t want to leave. I will definitely be going back there when I go back to NYC.

The next day, we all went to brunch at Serafina in the Meatpacking District. We all had tried something different and tried each other’s food. It was honestly the quietest brunch any of us have ever been to because we sat on the 3rd floor and were the only one’s there.

After brunch, we walked around the Chelsea Market for the rest of the afternoon. There are so many vendors and so many things to buy. You can really lose track of time when you’re there and it makes you want to buy everything!

I can’t wait until our NYC adventure.

Xoxo,

– K
